



The Manu Cultural Zone, in southeastern Peru, is a transition area between the Andes and the Amazon rainforest, rich in biodiversity and indigenous cultures. It offers visitors the opportunity to learn about local traditions and enjoy ecotourism in a unique natural environment.



Tours in Tambopata, in the Peruvian Amazon, provide a unique experience in one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world. Visitors explore the jungle through hiking, boat rides and spotting wildlife such as monkeys and macaws. Tambopata promotes ecotourism and sustainable conservation.



This exciting 5-day adventure begins in Cusco, specifically at the Huacarpay Lagoon, where we will have the opportunity to observe an impressive variety of birds, including hummingbirds, canasteros, hawks, falcons and approximately 50 other species around the lagoon. Afterwards, we will enter the impressive Manu National Park. In the first part of our journey, we will have the pleasure of observing cocks-of-the-rock, quetzals, hummingbirds and nightjars, among other fascinating species. We will arrive at the area known as Pilcopata, where we will embark on a boat to navigate the majestic Madre de Dios River. During this exciting boat trip, we will have the opportunity to spot around 30 species of birds, among which the most spectacular of all stands out, the majestic Andean condor. It will be an unforgettable experience for all nature and bird watching lovers.

During the first day, participants will have the opportunity to experience the rich diversity of birds at Laguna Huacarpay, a place known to be home to up to 50 different species. From flamingos to hummingbirds, hawks and ducks, this natural environment offers a visual feast for bird lovers. In addition, the trip to Manu National Park offers a panoramic view of the Andean mountains and a short stop in Paucartambo, a folkloric village, before immersing themselves in the mysterious cloud forest. On the second day, the main activity is the observation of the Cock-of-the-Rock, an emblematic bird of the region, in its morning ritual. This unique experience allows participants to witness how these birds display their colorful feathers in a stunning natural spectacle. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to observe other species of birds that fly in flocks, creating a majestic spectacle in the sky of the cloud forest. The third day is dedicated to thoroughly exploring the cloud forest, where participants can admire a wide variety of hummingbirds and endemic birds of the jungle. This experience offers the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in nature, observing wildlife in their natural habitat and learning about the importance of conserving these ecosystems. On the fourth day, the trip moves to the Amazon rainforest, where participants will have the opportunity to explore the Madre de Dios River in search of a wide range of birds, from herons to vultures and even the possibility of spotting the emblematic jaguar. This day provides a unique birdwatching experience in a lush and diverse jungle environment. Finally, the fifth day marks the return to Cusco, thus concluding an unforgettable experience of birdwatching and nature exploration in two of the most impressive ecosystems in Peru: the cloud forest and the Amazon rainforest.
