The Diversity of Fauna in Manu
Manu National Park is a refuge for an astonishing variety of animals. Among the most emblematic are the jaguar, the spectacled bear and the pink dolphin, each with unique adaptations that allow them to survive in this diverse ecosystem.
The jaguar, the largest feline in the Americas, is a master of camouflage, while the spectacled bear is distinguished by its distinctive white face. The pink dolphin, endemic to the Amazon basin, is famous for its unusual colour and playful behaviour.
For nature lovers, the park offers the opportunity to spot these and many other species. It is recommended to visit during the morning or at dusk, when the fauna is most active.
